History & Past Winners
History
The Regency International Pageant is a relatively new pageant. In 2013 Dingle Productions President Terri Dingle and CEO Jay Dingle envisioned a Regency International Pageant celebrating beauty, culture, and style.
The Dingles spent much of 2013 and 2014 promoting the pageant. They paved the way for the 2015 Regency International titleholders to make their debut in the world of pageantry with a known and respected title. With an incredibly successful inaugural year, the Regency International Pageant now rivals the oldest and most prestigious pageants today.
The Washington and Oregon Regency International Pageant is under the direction of Dr. Gary W. Ballou, who assumed the role in 2021. Dr. Ballou has a long history in pageantry as a judge and a coach, having coached local, state, national and international winners. In addition, Dr. Ballou is a 44-year veteran of the education profession as a teacher, principal and university professor.
Former Winners
KEILANI BUSWELL
Ms. Curve United States
I have been competing in pageantry since 2013. Over the years, I have competed in five different states and represented my home state of Washington as the state title holder. Recently, I had the honor of winning the national title of Ms. Curve United States at Regency International in 2021, placing First Runner-Up to Ms. Curve Regency International.
My main mission is to represent the diversity of people by advocating for “Breaking Boundaries by Beauty,” which is a platform I designed myself over the years.
I have helped to raise awareness and support for those who have yet to discover their fullest potential because of their background and/or different insecurities they face. I hope to continue to share my own journey in order to spread light to those who are in a dark spot. I truly believe that many people walk similar paths and that we should lend a hand to those in need.
