Dr. Gary Ballou
Dr. Gary Ballou is the Executive Director of the Washington and Oregon Regency International state pageants. Dr. Ballou has an extensive background in pageantry, which includes coaching international, national, regional and state winners, including contestants in the Miss USA and Miss America pageant systems.
As Executive Director, Dr. Ballou is responsible for budgeting, pageant venue and logistics, ticketing, entertainment, marketing, risk management, security, program design, prize acquisition, acquiring judges and planning rehearsals. From start to finish, Dr. Ballou makes sure all bases are covered.
Dr. Ballou holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from Antioch University (2008) and has an extensive career in university, community college, high school, middle school and elementary school settings.
The mission of this pageant is to inspire and encourage each contestant to reach her potential. Whether or not she wins the crown, she has accomplished a great deal. She is already a winner with or without the crown.
